Female Inspirations.

Hello everyone! So today I am just doing a post about these fabulous women who really inspire me.

1. Grace Coddlington. Grace Coddlington is the Creative Director for the American Vogue, she is an extremely talented person and I really admire her creativity. Her editorials are literal works of art. she has such a creative and unique mind that I just think is so interesting. I watched a documentary about her and Anna Wintour in Vogue called "The September Issue." It really gave an insight into what it's really like working there, and the work they do.

2. J.K. Rowling. Quite an obvious one, but I think that Joanne Rowling is my biggest inspiration. I absolutely love writing, and this women is the main reason I got into it in the first time. She is the most persistent person who never gave up and I always try to be like that. I also admire her for how she battled depression, her charity work, and that amazing mind and imagination that, I'd say changed my life, along with thousands of other Harry Potter kids.

3. Misty Copeland. She is the most unlikely ballerina that rose to become one of the principal dancers in the American Ballet Theatre. She doesn't have a typical ballerina shape, she didn't start until she was thirteen, and she is African-American, which is not too common in the ballet world. But despite all these drawbacks she is still one of the biggest names in ballet, and she is amazing.

4. Emma Watson. I have always loved Emma Watson, but her whole "He For She" Campaign has made me admire her even more. She is such a great role model for girls in a society where a lot of female celebrities are only famous and worshipped because of their appearance. I feel like the world is really saturated in this idea of perfection, be it the Victoria Secret's bodies or the faces of models in magazines, and I think Emma Watson is one of the women who has brought back a certain class into the world. She proves that it's not all about appearance, it's about having brains, and taking action for what you believe in, despite what the media and ignorant people think. Thank you Emma for giving me hope that when I am older my appearance is not what I will be valued on!

5. Meryl Streep. In every film I see Meryl Streep in, I think that she is just the most amazing actress ever. Even though I am only young, the fact that she is an older woman doing so well gives me so much hope, that all my achievements won't be over by the time I am thirty, and that I have my whole life to try everything I want. I have always been very interested in film and acting, and I always felt quite pressured because most actresses are very young. But Meryl Streep is my favourite actress of all time and proves that you can still have an amazing career when you older too.

6. Taylor Swift. I feel like because Taylor Swift is alive the world is just a cheerier place. She is one of the few world-famous female singers who is dignified, keeps her clothes on in her music videos and makes her living by being a genuinely talented person. I think people underestimate her, and the fact that she stays strong even when the media is so harsh on her is very admirable. Plus "1989" is one of my favourite albums ever.

7. Nina Nesbitt. I have been a huge fan of Nina for years, I think she is just such a talented musician and especially her new song "Trousers," all about women, and I think even though she is so young, seeing someone so sucessful and driven at that age is very inspiring.

Those are a few of my female inspirations, thank you so much for reading! Who inspires you and why? As always you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram @sunnylikejuly, thanks so much for reading and I'll be back very soon with a brand new post.
