Recipe #1: Berry smoothie.
To make this you will need:
a banana,
3 strawberries,
3 raspberries,
a handful of blueberries,
2 cubes of frozen pear puree (or just pear),
2 tbsp vanilla yoghurt,
a good swig of apple juice.
1. Wash the berries and cut the tops off the strawberries. Peel and chop the banana.
2. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend!
3. If you want you can serve with a straw and a strawberry on the side, to make it look all fancy!
Recipe #2: Apple and Peanut Butter Slices
To make this you will need:
an apple,
2 tbsp Peanut Butter,
Almonds,
Chocolate chips
1. Slice the apple thinly, and spread the peanut butter generously over each slice.
2. Sprinkle the almonds and the chocolate chips over the peanut butter. It's as easy as that!
Recipe #3: Chocolate-covered strawberries/raspberries
To make this you will need:
A handful of strawberries and raspberries
8 squares of milk chocolate.
1. Put your chocolate in a microwavable bowl and microwave it for a minute. Take out, stir, and put it in again if it isn't fully melted. Don't leave it in for too long though!
2. Chop the tops off the strawberries and coat them in the melted chocolate. Set them aside to cool. You can put sprinkles on them before they cool, but I haven't.
So, when I said these recipes were going to be easy, I meant it! There is only 2-3 steps in each of them, but the simplest recipes are the best. If you are impatient like me, you can make these in a matter of minutes too! And there isn't much washing up either, which I personally hate.
