March Music Favourites.
March has been the month of music. Here are a couple of my favourites that I listen to while I write and draw.
Oh Wonder: I love this band, their songs are so good and really easy to listen to when I'm trying to concentrate. Oh Wonder is a duo of a male and a female, and I really love the songs "Dazzle," "All We Do," "Technicolour Beat." They sound quite chill but at the same time there is a great beat to their songs. I also love the lyrics of their songs.
Vallis Alps: Another band, not unlike Oh Wonder. Oh Vallis Alps gives me the feels. I'd say I've listened to them everyday in March. They only have four songs, but I just can't stop listening to them. Music makes me very inspired, in case you couldn't tell. I listen to a lot more music than the average human being... Anyway my favourite songs of theirs are "Young," "Reprieve," and "Thru." They have soft electronic instumentals in the background and a predominant female vocalist who is amazing. Obsessed!
My last music favourite isn't anything specific, it's a playlist on Spotify called "Peaceful Piano." It's full of amazing piano pieces, some of my favourites on the playlist are "Nuvole Bianche," by Ludovico Einaudi, "The Approaching Night," by Phillip Wesley, and "Chord Left," by Agnes Obel. This playlist is the soundrack to my 2am writing sessions and those occasional sad times. Either way it makes everything better. I wouldn't actually say that all of these pieces are "peaceful," but they are very thought-provoking which suits me a lot more because I don't have the best attention span. "Nuvole Bianche" makes me cry every time I listen to it, I think it's one of my favourite pieces of music ever. Oohhh I just love music.
Thanks for reading x
