Music I am loving at the moment!

Hello everyone! Today I'm doing another fun blogpost, and I'm going to be sharing with you what music I am listening to at the moment. To listen to music, I use Spotify. I think Spotify is really good because it has virtually every song and you can make different playlists as well, including offline playlists that you can listen to without WiFi.

So, I would describe my music taste as being indie folk-pop, I like singers and bands who have a slightly bohemian edge to their sound. Basically like the kind of music you would hear at a music festival. So here is my top 6 artists on my playlist at the moment.

Nina Nesbitt - Probably my favourite singer to listen to at the moment. She's a Scottish-Swedish 20-year-old, and her debut album was released back in February. It's rare that you find an album and every song is your favourite, but ''Peroxide'' is one of the lucky few. Her sound is folk-pop, with a lot of acoustic guitar. Go listen to her album now!! My favourite songs are ''Mr. C,'' ''Two Worlds Away,'' ''Tough Luck,'' ''Peroxide,'' ''Selfies,'' ''The Hardest Part,'' and basically every other song on the album.

2. Us - A band that I have only recently gotten into, they are a duo of a girl and a boy, and from what I have heard, they are pretty darn amazing! Very folky, and a little bit country, and I just love them. I just feel like their music is really bouncy and feel-good. I am excited to explore their music a bit more. Two songs I really like from them are ''I Will Wait For You,'' and ''No Matter Where You Are.'' I would really recommend checking them out.

3. Haim - They are a relatively well-known band, with a very distinctive sound. It is a bit retro and electropop, but these three sisters from California are extremely talented musicians on the guitar and the bass. I would recommend checking out ''Forever,'' and ''Falling.''

4. The Neighbourhood - Another band I just recently discovered, but from what I have heard I really love them. I am loving ''Sweater Weather,'' it's slightly punkier and I feel like a real badass when I listen to it!! I am really excited to listen to more of them.

5. Lucy Rose - I love Lucy Rose because I think her music is quietly happy and relaxed. Her voice is absolutely amazing, the kind of voice that made you wish you were a better singer. I actually recently heard her song playing in the background of a shop and I had a bit of a fangirl moment, even though she isn't very well known yet. I really like ''Middle Of The Bed,'' ''Red Face,'' and ''Lines.''

6. Lauren Aquilina - I really love Lauren Aquilina because her songs are absolutely beautiful. Her songs are a little bit slow, and I am more of an upbeat music person, but I can still listen to Lauren happily. Another thing I really love is that her songs are very poetic, so the lyrics are really lovely to listen to.


So that was a little snippet of the music I like to listen to. As you can probably tell, I absolutely ADORE music! Please let me know of any good singers/bands because I am always looking for new people to follow!
