So this blogpost is long overdue, but last week I went out for brunch with my friends, and it was really lovely. We went to O&F, which is a dainty little café in Limerick city, but I'm pretty sure there are a couple O&F's scattered around the place, and it's not just a Limerick thing. I got the coffee cake, which was delicious (I have eaten a lot of coffee cakes in my life, I'm kind of an expert when it comes to cake tasting. This coffee cake was my second favourite I've ever tried, which is a huge merit!) Two of my friends got chocolate brownies. I had a little taste, they were warm, rich and very chocolatey, definitely getting one of them next time. My other two friends decided to be healthy and they both got paninis. We all got the hot chocolate, and I have to say that O&F is one of my favourite places to get hot chocolate because they use real melted chocolate and steaming frothy milk, and you have to mix it together because the chocolate is melted at the bottom. It is the most fabulous drink, and even though it was warm and sunny, and I was sweating from the heat, I'm glad I got it because YUM.
After brunch, we went to the park. (I love the park so I just forced everyone to accompany me.) We got ice-creams in the corner shop, and we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful morning. It took every ounce of my willpower not to go into the playground, but the age limit is 12 years old on the sign outside it. I'm officially too old for the playground, which makes me very sad...
My very lovely friend Julie offered to take some outfit photos for my blog, she was so great and she took so many pictures without me having to even ask her! However I am probably the most awkward poser for photographs in the entire world, and about 99% of the pictures are just embarrassing. But I ended up with a few that were semi-usable, which was good! I wore a white & blue striped boyfriend tee from Penneys/Primark, white jeans from Pull & Bear (which I am completely obsessed with) red faux Converse, and a leather jacket. However I wouldn't recommend wearing white jeans when you are sitting down in a field of grass, not the best idea on my part!
So that was my fun start to the summer holidays! Thank you for reading, please leave a comment letting me know what you've got up to during the holidays so far. I would also love it if you followed me on Bloglovin', the link is below. Only if you want to though!! Have a lovely day, and I'll be back very soon with a new post xx
