Autumn Purchases.

So it's been a very long time since I've posted! Welcome back if your a regular reader of Sunny Like July, and a big hello to you if you have never been here before! I have a lot of ideas for new blogposts and I want to really change this little space up and make it a lot better, I'm thinking of changing the name, redesigning and having way better content WAY more regularly. This week I'm going to try do as much writing and photographing as I can, and I hope that I can get into a routine of posting 3-4 times a week soon! I just wanted to post something so I would get the feel for blogging again, and get motivated!

I have a few pictures of recent purchases and I thought it would be a waste if I didn't put them anywhere, so here's a few things that I bought and that I love!

Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser: I bought this a few weeks ago, and I can definitely see an improvement in my skin. I'd just had it with my old cleanser, and I really want to get a proper skincare routine, so I thought this would be a good way to start it off. I have my eye on a Kiel's moisturiser, and next time I'm in Dublin you can be sure I'll be thinking of picking it up!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in "Asia." I've always looked at Mac lipsticks and thought that they were just beautiful, especially shades like "Velvet Teddy," and "Brave," neutral rosy/brown shades that I thought would look just amazing. When I was in Boots recently, I saw this Rimmel lipstick and thought it bore a striking resemblance to those two Mac beauts, and so I picked it up and I can safely say it's my new favourite lipstick, it's just a perfect Autumnal shade.

Rimmel "Wake Me Up" Mascara: Another Rimmel purchase, because to be honest about half of my modest makeup collection consists of Rimmel. I don't know why I bought this mascara, because I'd never heard anyone talk about it, and if I'm honest this is probably my least favourite mascara I've tried. In my life I've only had three different types of mascaras, so I'm no expert, but I find this very average and not amazing. It'll definitely too the job and I'm not going to get a new one until it dries up, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Garnier Micellar Water: Every single beauty blogger has had something to say about this product, and I had run out of my makeup remover so I picked it up. To date it still hasn't been used, because for the last two weeks I've pretty much worn no makeup whatsoever, but I'm sure it will be great.

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Tan: I'm extremely pale, which I'm growing to hate less. I used to wish that I had a beautiful tan but recently I've actually grown to kind of like my ghostly skin tone! I bought this tan for a night out and it didn't really show up on my skin, although I have a funny feeling that I did not leave it on nearly as long as I should have to let it develop, so I'm definitely going to give it another go.

Thank you so much for reading! To be honest I'm considering not posting this because I don't think it's an amazing post, but I also really want to break the silence! I've gotten a lot of inspiration lately of the kind of direction I want to take my blog. In the past I could never find any blogs that weren't about beauty/fashion, so that's what I ended up reading and it really influenced my blog. I'm no expert in makeup, and I don't want this to be a beauty blog. I will definitely post about makeup and style sometimes, but I want to write about other things, and make this blog a place I'm really proud of. If I never surpass 50 followers, but I love the content that I'm creating, then I'll still be happy! Please leave any non-beauty blogs that you like in the comments or tweet me! I would love some inspiration too so if you have any blogpost ideas please tell me!

Thanks for reading, the next time I post something, I will more than likely have a brand new blog name, design, and far better content! See you soon, love from Clio.
